My view is a boringly consistent fingerprint beats an unusual one. A rare combination is itself a signal. Curious whether people agree.

Two profiles on the same machine give different canvas hashes. I assume that is the whole point, just want to confirm I have not misconfigured something.

Strong plus one — changing a provider is the single most tedious hour in this job. What I do until then: filter to the group, then work down the list with the editor open, which at least removes the navigation between each one. If you are changing a lot of them, re-importing the group from a CSV with the new proxy column is faster than clicking, though you have to be careful to match on the existing profiles rather than creating new ones.

The built-in check tests the connection, not the session, so they can disagree.

Try it on a fresh profile. If that works it is something in the original one.
