A profile belongs to one group but often has several attributes. Tags would let me filter by client and platform at once.

Changing a provider means editing profiles one at a time. Selecting several and applying one proxy would save a lot of clicking.

Useful for the same reason — clients ask for a list and nobody wants to build it by hand. Worth knowing that the local API can list profiles, so a short script can produce exactly the columns you described until it is a button. That is what I do monthly: pull the list, keep name, group and proxy, drop everything else, and the client gets the same shape every time.

Try it on a fresh profile. If that works it is something in the original one.

What does the log say when it happens? That usually narrows it down quickly.
